At Wags N’ Whiskers Pet Care, our team is made up of dedicated animal lovers who treat every pet like family. One of the driving forces behind our success is co-owner Chris Johnson, whose passion for animals and hands-on approach make him an essential part of the business.

Chris was born in Alabama and spent his childhood on a farm surrounded by horses and dogs. Taking care of them at an early age taught him responsibility, patience, and a deep respect for all animals. As a teenager, he moved to Maryland, but his love for animals remained a constant part of his life. In his free time, Chris is a huge sports fan. He loves spending the weekends watching Alabama take on their rivals and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. He also enjoys playing video games, watching movies, fishing, and spending time with his fiancé and pets.

He met his fiancé, Becca, in 2016 and got engaged in 2020. They have many pets including two dogs, two cats, one bird, and several fish. In December 2021, after using Rover for a few months, Becca and Chris launched Wags N’ Whiskers Pet Care to provide personalized and reliable pet services for Carroll County, Maryland.

Chris is the one you’ll often see taking care of our various clients, ensuring that every pet receives the best possible care. His main responsibilities include:

· Attending Meet N’ Greets

· Walking dogs

· Dropping in to care for animals like cats, birds, fish, farm animals, etc

· Administering medications to pets

Chris’s hands-on approach ensures that each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s a high-energy pup that needs a long walk or a senior pet requiring gentle attention, Chris is always there to help.

Chris believes that every pet deserves love, attention, and compassionate care. He treats each animal as if they were his own ensuring peace of mind to pet owners. His dedication, experience, and passion make him an invaluable part of the team.
